We need Sachin to endorse Palio, Kapil for Kinetic Boss, Ash for eye donation, Aamir and his ilk for Coke, Rani for Lux...Isnt it about time we reject all these stuff... Remember, everytime u buy a endoresed product, u are passing on the monies to that star...

Ha Ha Ha HA HA!!! Must you always heckle the poor kids out here, PSD??? BTW, you would look horrible in a loincloth, man!! The chicks are gonna faint, before you can start off the jane tryouts!!! I got an idea, why dont we all \"adopt\" products??? Like, I say Dabur Chawanprash is mine, so I can adopt any tactics I want to endorse it, like catching people randomly on the street and stuffing spoonfuls of Dabur Chawanprash down their throat.
Who needs celebs anyway?? Gimme an underdressed college chick anyday!

Poor Jane, beware of the naive herbi forni.... Tarzan!
After telling/teaching him about love making, he punches below Jane\'s belly and says \"Tarzan looks for bees\" when asked why the heck he whacked her below the belly button.

why do we need to reject eye donation just bcos aishwarya rai endorsed it?? but of course.. u are talking abt products... look at tvs.. it has come up with a good bike... victor. without tendulkar.. it wouldnt have had the visibility (even if they managed to sell it cheaper by 1000 rs i dont think there would have been many takers.) so for any product/brand visibility is very important. so you either come up with a very creative idea and/or a personality who can catch the publics eye. and if they have to transfer the cost to the public, so be it....

Vijay, things are getting extremely sophisticated, the difference between the quality of products are too narrow, the junta to a large extent finds it difficult to make the right decisions on what to buy. The enterprueners bank on the fickle-mindedness of the public and they force the public to buy stuff endorsed by their prima donnas. On an average, ad\'s on TV are of 15-20 sec duration in which it is almost impossible to convey to the public on the merits of the product. Here is where the so-called-celebrities step in and act as a mediator between the public eye and the product, for which they get paid pretty well. Guys like you, vegmanjuria and few other thousand do not need any sort of \"meida-intervention\" in buying your stuff. But what you do not realise that is that for every thousand there are a million persons who totally bank on the very statement made by their heros!! If \'non-entities\' like you and me endorse a product these guys wont even give two shits about our opinion! If you had read todays paper you will know that in kurnool a major fight broke out between the fan clubs of chiranjeevee and the oher-hero. Why ? Regarding their success of their movies !! You know what impact can they have on these ppl if they endorsed a product..these guys will blindly buy the stuff ! About that pepsi thing vegmanjuria mentioned was a bit fascinating , alright only 4 bucks go into the actual production of the drink but it is not the rest of the 6 bucks are into the actors/cricketers pocket. There are thousands of ppl working in the different levels of the heirarchy in making the product, it is not that they are chained like the korea/japan\'s \"hentai/manga\" anime industry and made to do forced labour. The celebrities sign a contract for a certain period and they endorse products till the contract expires. Besides there is nothing wrong in that for that is just a measely amount (like 20 p per bottle or so) and they IMO deserve it. Vijay, you were talking giving the money away to the homeless and poor, have you looked into the practical aspect of it? It very easy to talk and think about philanthropy and donations, but unfortunately thoughts dont count. Before pointing fingers, just tell me about your contributions ? ( Okay, if in the recent past you have given alms to a beggar then you are not a law abiding citizen of the country, as the supreme court has ordered not to so!!) Gimmicks like you mentioned will go on and ppl will still clap hands and stand in awe at these gimmicks and still life goes on. All of us are just put a mask and try to be good in the eyes of the public, benevolence largely a fad these days.I totally am with you about DEVDAS!! Vijay, that was my two cents of seriousness. You know what, people reading this right now are nodding their heads, either in agreement or in total disgust, and in five minutes these ppl will return back to their drone dull mundane existence governed by the god of routine and forget every thing of this. Ha, so much for seriousness...

Great dude
i thought u were just a freak kidding!!!!
As you said competition and quality its good
that ppl get such good quality stuff
but as said some ads to it differently
with a social cause.
Even some corporate giants took up moral
causes and won hearts of people
and Dude i never believe in giving alms
to beggars that will only create beggars
if given a chance i will set up my own
company and give jobs to ppl and not
alms
And wanted to add Delhi police traffic
commisioner has recently issued an order
that those selling on roads will not be allowed
to do so you can\'t beg you can\'t sell
may be poor ppl don\'t deserve to live!!!!
Hmmm India is running towards capitalism ....
