Yeah! We all know it\'s Coca-Cola. I think that the whole \'India\' campaign by Coke was fantastic. Personally, I think the Hyderabadi thing was a bit overdone ...it was cute, nonetheless. But the latest in the series... Aamir as the Bhojpuri (\"...counting karo... paanch matlab Coke\") ad by far is the most brillaint. Coke seems to have left Pepsi panting far behind in the clash of the colas.
Coke also seems to be getting the msot of what it\'s paid Aamir. With such a successful campaign, these guys (McCann, to be precise) have managed to punch a sizeable hole in the large Urban Market (the \'Dil Chahta Hai\' Aamir) and the untapped rural market (the Aamir from Lagaan) . I guess the only decent ad in the recent days that Pepsi managed to put out was the Sachin-Amitabh one (\"Dil ki patang hai... Sapnon ka dor hai... Yeh dil mange more hai\"). After that, it\'s just been a downward spiral. Despite their pre-World Cup campaign featuring biggies like Shahrukh and Kareena (\'Bus ek Cup aur..), Pepsi hasn\'t really managed to pull it off (creatively, at least). It\'s high time they stitched some elastic in their socks and pulled \'em up.
