Why the reference for Laila, Majnu and Shireen, Farhad, even they were not successful in their love(i think the ultimate stage is marriage). It means if you cannot get married you have to die? If not then why the reference?

Nice Question radha
..
What is the essnece of love, Aakhir ishq ki bulandi o imtiyaaz kya hai ?
If someone analyses the love stories of the world a strikingly major part
of timeless love literature would contain love tragedies.
..
According to me there are two main reasons for this firstly, grief in itself is a feeling much more profound in nature than happiness. If you analyze for a moment you will see that Happiness is ephemeral while grief is not so short lived and has some immortalish tendencies to it.
..
So if this feeling is attached to love then love itself becomes immortal. You might have noticed that

Pain and Grief changes people, You might have seen people change their lifestyles their thinking

and even their personalities due to grief, on the same note how many times did you see a permanent and profound change in someone due to happiness ?
..
Happiness is a wonderful feeling but it gives you momentary pleasure and is not aeonian or

lasting in terms of existing in print or folklore, in the sense that it cannot be easily imparted to the

onlooker.
..
Pain on the other hand is easily felt even if you dont know the greived and hence the touchstone for

love is always the gargantuan capacity of these very unsucessful lovers to bear grief in the quest for their beloved.
..
Another very important factor is that truthfulness of any relationship is best probed tested and tried

in the worst of conditions and these failed souls of love were in those very situations and came out

victorious by giving the ultimate in sacrifice,.... their life.
..
What else can a human being give more in sacrifice other than the thing which made him a human,

which is his soul ? Hence they live in the hearts of people and you see them referenced to many a times in the form of Shireen Farhad, Laila-Qais and Romeo\'s and Juliets everywhere lamenting on the broken heart and crying out for their beloved
..
Secondly on a lighter note On any given time on the planet earth there are more heart broken souls

than those who are succesful( if you call marraige a success) and it is these people who keep the fire of these tragedies alive by pouring in the blood from their hearts.
.
Hope I did nor bore you.
.
Bhirr Ustaad, Thanks for your very clear explanation, i like to read every one opinions even if they are too long. And i think they are very few left who can explain in the way you did.
Any how every one have different thoughts, so you think people who fell in love should end their journeys in sacrifice so that every one remembers them???? I dont beleive in \"suicide\"(in your words sacrifice) they are cowards who do this type of things. (aur ek mashoor kahawat hai, \"WAQT HAR ZAKHM MITADETA HAI\".
One more thing, what is the ultimate end of LOVE?? suppose any one falls in love, what will be his destination,
