How about a FAQ?

by Sharjeel » Sun Oct 10, 2004 11:39 pm

I dont remember seeing a FAQ when I registered. I just thought having a prominent link on how to Post, the Posts count and what it does, etc; or something on the lines of: 'you can post even if you don't register', because I often feel that either people don't post because they don't know how to post, or they think that they will have to register or something.

Cheers!

Good idea. Although, I think the Comments, Feedback etc topics are meant for such stuff.

Ha Ha Ha!

Jaan! u crack jokes at grampa? I would have scolded you, but you have been a nice lil girl and Gramps will let you go this one time. :D

No actually, that is waaayyyyy out od sight. It would help if it is displayed in some place where everyone can easily see it.

Atleast we should have a message like 'you can post even if you don't register' or 'read the faq if you are having trouble posting', and have the messages displayed in bright flourescent pink towards the top of the page.

There are a lot of Boards where these sort of messages are displayed.

This site needs the introduction of Sticky Posts, which stay at the top even if newer posts are posted...

You can try going back a coupla pages and then click on 'next page' until you come to the latest post. It works for me.

Mere ko bhiproblem tha. But then I stopped clicking on 'goto latest post'. If the thread is 7 pages long, I jes click on the 6th page and then press 'next page'. If i do that, then the page opens, otherwise it says no posts in this topic. :? Only happens with the 'Do intellegent girls' wala page.
