Announcement for Formation of Separate Telangana
And it’s Aftermath

Dear Friends,

After some political developments in Andhra Pradesh the Central UPA government led by Congress(I) declared at midnight on 10th December 2009,, without consulting any of the concerned, more particularly without taking into confidence the people of Andhra Pradesh, that the process for formation of separate Telangana state would be initiated. As a reaction to this, through out Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions of the state we are witnessing a wide spread emotional out burst. Through out the country also demands for separate Bodoland, Goorkha land, Vidarbha, Bundelkhand, Kurg, Sourashtra, Mithilanchal, Haritpradesh, Purvanchal etc.,have come to the fore again. All the political parties are trying to use these unfortunate developments for their petty narrow political ends. When today the people, the exploited majority, in all states and in all regions irrespective of their place of birth or workplace suffering from multifarious problems like sky rocketing prices, unemployment, retrenchment, lay offs, lack of educational and health facilities, poverty, hunger etc. are coming out in united movements, the ruling class through its trusted political agents has connived to divert the attention of the people from the real problem by whipping up regionalism and separatist mentality. They are resorting to a conspiracy of developing mistrust, disbelief and hatred among the people disrupting their united struggle which is the prime need of the hour. However, it is quite heartening that majority people of Andhra Pradesh have not fallen victim to this political game and conspiracy and they are cherishing unity from the depth of their hearts.

Cause for Backwardness and Unemployment

Whether one agrees or not we live in a capitalist society. In this system uneven development of regions is an absolute law, as Great Lenin pointed out long back. This happens because the capitalists prefer to establish their industries in areas where basic facilities like electricity, transport, communications and natural resources are available. Another reason for unequal development is discrimination, partiality and narrow regional mentality shown by all the successive governments and corrupt political leaders of all the parties which work against the justifiable use of the available natural resources. Geographical feasibility is also a point to be considered. These are the reasons for uneven development and backwardness of any region. This phenomenon is not limited to regions alone. This difference is there even among the districts of the same region and among the mandals of the same district and among villages also. If every body demands separation showing this backwardness where will we end up? Surely in the dark medieval ages. As per the law of development of society we advanced from tribes to kingdoms, then to nations. We are to now develop as world socialist society and consequently as an international human society. Separatism is a step backward and reactionary. Fighting for equal opportunities against discrimination is the only solution and not separation. It is worth mentioning here that no leader of any separatist movement not to speak of Mr.Chandrasekhar Rao of TRS has ever developed any movement against the exploitative capitalists for the redressal of problems of the common people about whom they shed crocodile tears day in and day out.

What is required for overall development is a comprehensive plan for scientific utilization of the entire natural resources of the state after proper and exact estimation of the availability of all natural resources like water, minerals, forests etc., While implementing any project priority should be given to backward areas. Concrete steps should be taken to develop educational and health facilities and to create employment opportunities in all the areas. It is possible today by using modern science and technology to provide irrigation even to geographically unfavorable uplands also. But what is lacking is political will and commitment on the part of the so called leaders. The parties which ruled our state, the Congress(I) and the TDP have worked only to safeguard the interest of the capitalists and neglected the backward areas. All problems got aggravated as a result of the policies implemented by these parties. People are thoroughly dissatisfied with the despotic rule of these parties. Taking advantage of this situation parties like TRS have raised the bogie of separate Telangana state. Even some so called intellectuals and students were misguided by such slogans. Communal BJP true to its color and even the pseudo communist parties and naxalite groups were actively involved in this separatist movement. The role of the media is heinous. They are sensationalizing every thing for their commercial benefit throwing all norms of journalism and sense of social obligation to winds. This has further vitiated the whole social atmosphere.

Separate Small States and Development

Some people argue that small states develop well, resources will belong to the locals only, and local leaders will do all good for them, and the locals get employment. But what is the reality? Look at the small states like Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur formed long ago and also Jarkhand, Uttaranchal, Chattisgadh formed a few years back. There is absolutely no development in these states nor is there any hope of development in the future. Small or big every state remains a part and parcel of the existing capitalist system only. Which ever political party forms the government it will only serve the interest of the exploiters. Only gullible persons can expect any thing good from the rulers of the separate small states. Can any one expect uninterrupted industrialization in any new state while industries in the world including our country are getting closed one after another due to the severe world economic recession? Even in Telangana region hundreds of industries have been closed and every day many are getting closed. It is mere illusion if any one thinks that these industries will be opened when separate Telangana is formed. According to official estimates there are three lakh vacant posts to be filled by government in our state since almost two decades. No government is taking any measures to fill up these posts because of the ongoing ban on recruitment. In separate smaller states also the same ban will continue. Who ever rules the new state; they will also follow the same anti people policies of globalization, liberalization and privatization. Hoping that the rulers of small separate states will give up these anti-people policies is height of ignorance.

Will the Problems of the People be solved in a Separate State?

Through out the country including our state a suffocating situation is prevailing. Social, economic, political, cultural, ethical and moral crisis ie., an all out crisis is engulfing. There is no educational and health facility for our people, no employment for millions of our educated youth, no security for our mothers and sisters. Retrenchments and closures of industries are throwing thousands of our workers on to the streets. Suicides of peasants due to debts are going on unabated. Because of capitalist exploitation millions are becoming paupers while a few handfuls are becoming millionaires. This situation is prevailing through out the country, in every state and in every region. In Telangana also the exploitation of the poor by a few rich will become more ruthless after separation. Regional capitalists and business barons will continue their exploitation more severely. No people’s problem will be solved in separate states. Rather every problem will surely get aggravated. Capitalism is the root cause for each and every problem. Capitalists are the enemy and not the people of other regions. This truth must be understood by all the common people; otherwise the real enemies will escape from the growing wrath of the people. For redressal of their problems people should unite and fight against capitalists rulers.

If a separate state is formed, at best a new assembly, secretariat, police head quarters, high court and directorate head offices will be formed which will provide a few extra jobs to a microscopic minority. And for that, the burden of the entire top heavy administrative expenditure will be put on the shoulders of common people. More so in small states people’s movements can be suppressed by the police and administration more easily. People particularly employees, youth and students must realize this very important fact.

United Movement on Common Burning Issues – The Only Way Out

In the past the British imperialist rulers tried to suppress the freedom movement by adopting the policy of divide and rule. In the same way today the domestic capitalist rulers are trying to nip in the bud the democratic mass movements of the people by diverting their attention towards secessionist and parochial movements. Their ultimate aim is to disrupt the unity of exploited people. Even the media, particularly the electronic media in their mad commercial competition is behaving irresponsibly fanning up all types of reactionary tendencies and are trying to blunt the sensitivities of the people by repeatedly showing the same scenes of violence and crime. They are trying to channelise people’s anger and discontentment arising out of capitalist exploitation into a wrong path. People particularly the employees, students and youth should be on guard against such ploys of the exploiters and their agents. They should realize that who ever instigates communal, parochial, casteist and divisive tendencies, they are the enemies. We appeal to the people not to be swayed away by emotions. Exploited people belonging to different regions should guard their unity like an apple of an eye and unitedly fight to solve their burning problems like un-employment, price-rise; fight for strengthening public distribution system, completion of all pending projects and re-opening of all closed industries. They should fight against capitalist globalization, liberalization and privatization policies. They should fight against privatisation of educational and health facilities. They should develop these movements in a way conducive to anti capitalist socialist revolution, the ultimate remedy for all the basic social maladies.

In this critical hour we urge upon the people to maintain unity irrespective of caste, creed, language, and region and launch struggle against their common enemy the capitalists. We appeal to the to realize that their enemy is not the people of other regions. Their enemy is their own capitalists and their political agents. We call upon the people to turn their grievances in the right direction and come forward for mighty democratic united mass movements on their burning problems.

everybody wants development not separate telangana, if someone wants separate telangana
it is for their self benifits or fools

the main reason for this agitation is
media ---- unwanted hype
kcr ---- who is responsible for the death of man people all this public, private damage ,
opposition parties --- for supporting telangana issue before elections
people ---- no courage to fight with leaders

actually why party leaders and people are not bothered for natural calamities, terrerism
they are fighting for useless reason, leaders complain that this region is dominated by
and ruled by andhra , rayalaseema.i don't agree with this nonsense we are living in democratic country, noboby is slave or dominated by others we should not blame others.

leaders are threatening and terrerising in the name of telangana,
kcr -- to maintain law and order who is the beginner for all this unimaginable
damage should be punished immediatly

Hi all

We're getting caught in the cross-fire of politicians' selfish interests. This movement will unite all Hyderabadis to fight back against protestors who force us to shut our businesses and stay off the roads, damaging property - public or private - and, in general, para...lyze lives. And it's not just online activity that we're talking about - This group aims to meet offline, organize large rallies, and do everything to we can to get Hyderabad back to normal. But whether it be online, or offline, let's all do our bit to galvanize the movement.

Telangana movement is conceived by selfish politicians and disgruntiled so called intellectuals who have lot of greiviences and great desires.
There are socio cultural differences between people of various regions through out India. But there are also lot of cultural and life style similarities which keep us all united and call ourselves proudly Indians. We are not one against others.Infact we enjoy every thing Indian in others culture.
The root cause of Telangana agitation is real estate prices as the lands have become very costly for buying for a common man. Those who already owned land have become crorepathys and they want all the land to be theirs now. This is possible only by driving away others who have purchased lands and properties recently.
Those who are in business and could not utilise the boom period and could not invest in corporate buisiness are also jealousy and want to drive away the corporate buisiness people.
Common man has nothig to do with seperate telangana. It will not solve common man's problems. In fact it will worsen the lives of common people.
At best it will give employment to some rougue politicians.Thats all.

separate telangana wouldbe good for the overall GDP growth of India. Ports can be developed on coastal side and knowledge industry can be developed on the telangana side.

1) People Need and want Telangana state for their development and self governance but nothing against to any body.
2) In smaller states, Government can focus issues closly compare to larger states. If this is not true, we can have only one state in india, does it mean we are united.
3) I do agree for "Language based" states but it does not mean only one language- one state.Whats wrong if Telugu people have two states?
4) Many Seema & Andhra People have concern about Hyderabad and Kirshan-Godavari water.
a) Hyderabad-->Any body can stay any where in India. It won't be any difference between current hyderabad and "Telangana-Hyderabad".
b) Water--> Water distribution has to happen based on Tribunal-LAWs, Every region should get their water, its their right. Whats wrong and why Telangana region should not get water?

Wakeup

by Sai kumar » Fri Jan 01, 2010 11:44 am

The present burning issue of AndhraPradesh is a real problem of few dacade in past. But now, there no real need of split in AP. The dirty politics are playing vital role these days and we have tobe shame of being spectators.. I request all Citizens to wakeup, we are in the days of developing globe as a single GLOBAL VILLEGE. We have 119 MLAs and 20 MPs from Telangana districts from past Half Century....What they did for their mother land having power in hand. I advise them not to cry on hardworkers and achievers who made the present Hyd stand in internalmarkets. We need right leader ...a leader should come Now....WHO MAKES US DEVELOP MORE ...WHO MAKES US HAPPY FOR LIFE TIME...WHO MAKES OUR NEXT GENERATIONS LIVE WITH PEACE....And Finally who achieves the goals, our riquirement with intelligent stratagies...WITH NO LOSS OF MONEY, PROPERTY, PEACE AND TIME.

Fight for right future not divisions. THINK WISE.

About the role of students in the agitation.
To days students will decide how the future India looks like inthe world map in the next 50 years. It is up to the current young generation to see a great India in the globe in the future. The India everybody would like to be is A great nation with good ,intelligent, well educated, responsible, hounarable, world class citigens who do not have narrow mind who treats all others as equal and as brothers and sisters who does not allow Indian soil to division in the name of region, religion, caste and ethnicity. All regions of the nation will have equal rights in the natural resources and everybody has right to live ,grow and prosper in a peaceful atmosphere.India should not disintegrate into civil war among its own groups and civilisations. We are democratic people. All our differences can be solved only through consultations, discussions, expert panel advises and through sound unbiased judgements and policy decisions keeping all Indians well fare in mind for the coming centuries. All disputes should be solved only on responsible selfless majority votes. There is no role for viloent demonstrations, vitriolage of words, hunger strikes, blackmail politics, infuriating speeches, spread of hatred and intolerance on others and damaging properties. All these shows how our democracy can be subverted by vested interests. We all should stand upright and fight this evil in our society. Otherwise India will go down in history as another rougue country.

Hi all,

I don't want my state to be divided into regions. Everyone who is striving hard to get the separate state will come to know sooner or later after there division about there mistake. people who are fighting for the separate state are offcourse lazy, they want oppurtunities to come and they don't want to create oppurtunities by themself. They know how to fight for a separate state but don't want to struggle for developments, education, business etc being united. In simple words they want to paralyze themself so that they can get jobs as same as handicaps in reservation qouta out of sympathy. I know my words are bit spicy but it's true. Let suppose if we get a separate state than who guarantees you about your job. If at all you get the job than who assures you that it will be enough for you to survive. Offcourse after division the things will be worse. Prices of commdities and taxes will be increased, real estate business will be no more, on which lakhs of people are dependent now a days. People think about it once..........

It is very amusing to hear from young guys and old as well that the Telangana movement is 54 years old and continuous.

The the question comes why is not conceeded ? Obviously there is some rationale missing in the movement. How is a person of 25 to day know what happened in 1953 and 1956.? History is always twisted by people to their advantage.

The present agitation for separate Telangana is the result of one extremely selfish disgruntled politician because a ministership is not given to him. It is easy to abb emotions among people particulalry in an area like Telangana where a common person is very innocent and worried about his daily meals. It is for this reason that this area can be very easily influenced by leftists and their many other avatars.

Normally when a proposal is made to combine all Telugu speaking people into one state, it will be most welcome by any right thinking person who values his language and culture. This is what happened in 1956. I was a teen ager at that time and felt with some inexplicable joy for that milestone in the history of Telugu people. In a complex country like India, such a state on linguistic basis provides a stable structure for the whole nation.

Now it is possible that several mishaps might have happened during the last 50 years but I would imagine they could not have happened without the connivance of Telangana leaders or at least without their indifference to what was happening. Thei is what Smt Indira Gandhi said to leaders in 1969-1972 period. She refused to divide the state. Granting that Telangana region suffered from injustice, the solution lies in finding a solution for that.

Why not ask for a Telangana Chief Minister ?

Hi All,

Hats off to All those people who wish to see brighter telangana region -

where an Woman does not need to walk miles to get a pot of water, where

a kid does not get flouride effects, where a father dont cry in

depression being exploited by land lords by end of the day, where a youngster dont get

exploited by local politicians and not aware of opportunities, where a

girl does "vetti" in land lords cattle field, where a young worker fly

to dubai by crooked agent....!!

After looking at students gathering at OU campus, if they could realize

their energies to teach next student, fight for floride issue, fight for

safer roads, unite for creating opportunities, unite for improved

production... IF the JAC plunge into these activities, we will get

freedom from evil designs. Its just not enough to get boundaries of our

home, if JAC builds home, strengthens weaker sections... thats the

freedom...why dont you guys direct JAC to do this kind of people

movements, along with political and administrative seperation. This

would be historic and this would prove that we have unique nature!!

Thanks

WHAT ALL SAID BY THE GENTLEMAN LIKE FLOURIDE IMPACT, FLEEING TO DUBAI, RUNNING MILES TOGETHER FOR A POT WATER ETC.ETC. ARE COMMON NOT FOR TELANGANA ALONE, THERE ARE LAKHS OF PEOPLE THROUGH OUT INDIA FACING SUCH PROBLEMS, PERHAPS SEVERE THAN TELANGANA.

SUCH ISSUES ARE TO BE TAKEN UP AND RESOLVED BY THE LOCAL POLITICAL LEADERSHIP IN TELANGANA THROUGH ESTABLISHED MECHANISM FOR THAT. IF TELANGANA IS TO BLAME FOR ITS SO CALLED UNDERDEVELOPMENT AND OTHER ISSUES, ITS THEIR LEADERS FOR THE LAST 50 YEARS. THEY HAD ALWAYS THEIR SHARE OF POWER IN THEIR HANDS. IT IS COMPLETELY INJUSTICE TO BLAME OTHERS FOR ONES FAILURE/DEBACLE.

IF AT ALL TELANGANA STATE IS ESTABLISHED, ITS GOING TO BE THE SAME LEADERSHIP WHO WILL BE EMPOWERED MORE AND MISERY OF THE PUBLIC WILL BE MORE.

THE CONCEPT OF TELANGANA STATEHOOD ITSELF IS BASELESS. DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO ASK FOR AN INDEPENDENT STATE FOR PETTY ISSUES AS MENTIONED ABOVE. WHAT ALL PROBLEMS/COMPLAINTS TELANGANA PEOPLE FACE/LODGE ARE PURELY ADMINISTRATIVE INEFFICIENCY WHICH IS OMNI PRESENT IN INDIA. TRY TO SANITISE THE SYSTEM INSTEAD OF DEMAND SEPERATE STATE.

TELANGANA PEOPLE HAVE DEVELOPED A KIND OF HATRED (FOR REASONS BETTER KNOWN TO THEM) FOR ANDHRAS WHICH IS THE ROUTE CAUSE FOR DEMANDING SEPERATE STATE.

Hi all.
I have few questions for all you guys who are against seperate state of telangana.

1)Where were you are these days when Telangana was not given proportionate water and funds which it deserves.
2) Where were you when many people are dying or becoming handicapped due to flourosis.
3) Where were you when small scale industries are getting closed and people are committing suicides.
4) Where were you when your brothers are insulted based on their language and culture in your films.

Don't you consider Telangana as part of your state? If yes why were you quite all these days and only posting some Ideal solutions which even small kids know that when executed will give good results.

Ideally Telangana should be developed and every one should be happy in United Andhra Pradesh.
But it is too far from Ideal development in last 50 years.

Please don't give ideal solutions and try to be practical and try to find why lakhs of educated people in Telangana are revolting against united AP.

Please read the history and then use your intelligence. Intelligence without knowledge has no value.

Answers to Questions by Vajram:

1)Where were you are these days when Telangana was not given proportionate water and funds which it deserves.

Ans : Why you didn't fight for Water and funds then and there instead of revolting for seperate Statehood.

2) Where were you when many people are dying or becoming handicapped due to flourosis.

Ans : Are Andhra people responsible for fourosis?. Are they asking you to fight for their problems. Blame it on local leadership at Telangana who could not represent people problems/complaints in a worthy way at state level. One can not blame others for his inefficiency/incompetency. Fight for neutralising flourosis....thats where u r doing justice to telangana.

3) Where were you when small scale industries are getting closed and people are committing suicides.

Again blame it on Government. You always had your share of power in State Government. Moreover such closures are not common phenomena of telangana alone. There are several regions where such industrial break downs were their. Are they all demanding seperate state hood?

4) Where were you when your brothers are insulted based on their language and culture in your films.

Is it telangana culture/language alone being insulted in films? Every region in AP has it own culture/language. Films do the similar "so called" insult to other region's cultures also. Other take it casually we never took it as humiliation. Its only for fun and not to react on act friend.
In movies, rayalasemma people are depicted as factionists/villains. Its they who should really mind.

UNITED ANDHRA PEOPLE COME TO FORE WHENVER THERE IS SEPERATIST MOVEMENT IN STATE. ITS ONLY REACTION TO AN ACTION.

I HAVE ANSWERED YOUR QUESTIONS IN A FRIENDLY WAY. DONT GET HURT BY THIS. BECAUSE I AM NOT A POLITICIAN AND I HAVE NOT HATRED FOR ANY REGION'S CULTURE/LANGUAGE/PEOPLE. WE ARE TELUGU PEOPLE Y SHOULD WE FIGHT AMONG OURSELVES.

MORE OVER ALL THE ABOVE REASONS YOU PUT FORTH CAN NEVER BE A BASE FOR DEMAND OF A SEPERATE STATE HOOD.

No,
i am against of separation of AP,
i want development of AP(telangana, andhra and rayaseema too).
politicians are playing with people in AP, there using our emotions for their benefits.
students and common man suffering a lot.

Similar models were conceived by intellectuals but are trashed by Andhra rulers and pseudo intellectuals because they will benefit Telangana.

77) 1969 - after Jai Telangana movement 'All Party Accord' was formulated, scrapped within 6 months. Than 8-point formula, 5-point formula were announced. then supreme court upheld Mulki rules. Andhra elites could not digest it, launched Jai Andhra movement. Central govt yielded as usual to elites tactics, then 6-point formula. Even this is being violated royally many times, robbing Telangana its rightfulness.

78) Nagarjuna Sagar initially meant to benefit Andhra and Telangana. Later on it is modified in such a way that 75% of the benefit is accruing to Andhra reducing the share of Telangana region to just 25%. Andhra settlers own 50% of these 25% utilization lands.

81) Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme, was to irrigate 87500 acres in Mahabubnagar. The Bachawat Tribunal also allocated 15.90 TMC ft. of water for this project. This water has to pass through a canal in Raichur district of Karnataka State. After the formation of Andhra Pradesh landlords of Rayalaseema blasted the gates with bombs and diverted water to their land. Since then Govt never even tried to reconstruct the gates.

82) Devadula Project, provides water for 5 lakh acres, was promised to be finished in 5 yrs in 2001, yet to begin work. The funniest fact is, Sriram sagar is yet to be completed for last 40 yrs which provides water for just 4 lakh acres. Telangana people are supposed to believe the promise.

83) Two major projects proposed on river Godavari are Ichampally and Polavaram. Ichampally is meant for Telangana and Polavaram for Andhra. The irrigation potential of Polavaram Project would be 6 to 7 times more than the irrigation potential of Ichampally. Ichampally is going to be primarily a power project not a irrigation project !

84) Andhra lands are irrigated by canal irrigation i.e. with tax payer’s money. Andhra farmer pays Rs 200 - 300 per annum as water charges. Telangana lands are irrigated by bore wells, entire cost is on the farmer . Digging, power, bore well, motor, pipes. He struggles with fluctuations in power supplies with irregularities and pathetic power distribution pattern in Telangana.

85) Technological University was actually started in Warangal but was shifted to Hyderabad, Open University was originally Nalgonda district but was later shifted Hyd. They also passed a Unanimous Resolution’ in November 1955 in Andhra Assembly in support of safeguards and subsequently they put these safeguards in an Agreement on 20th February. 1956 which is known as “Gentlemen’s Agreement”. All are trashed soon after the agreement is signed.

95) Metro Rail project is being designed dilapidating 5000 shops, 2500 houses,147 schools, 120 hospitals, 60 Temples/Masjid/Churches. Historical monuments will disappear. All shops and complexes throughout Metro rail route are with Seemandhra thugs.

96) 1947 India got Independence. 1948 Indian Army did police action to dethrone Nizam. Hyd state existed from 1949 to 1956. Telangana merged with Andhra against its wishes in1956. Telangana has nothing to do with Potti Sriramulu.

97) Telangana Sayudha Poratam, (Telangana armed struggle) was against Nizam facist rule, 4000 people died - inspired all subsequent land movements in West Bengal, Kerala and Tripura and paved way for formation of Communist governments in those States. This is never acknowledged by Seemandhra rulers so far.

98) Despite 69% Krishna, 79% Godavari flows through Telangana, irrigation cost is Rs.1500/acre. 13% of Krishna, 21% Godavari flows through Andhra irrigation cost is Rs.150/acre.

99) Per capita income of Madhya Pradesh: Rs 18,051. Chattisgarh formed in 2000. Per capita income of Chhattisgarh in 2008-09 - Rs. 29,621. Recently formed smaller states are catching up with Haryana is 71%, Himachal is 81% and Uttarakhand is 75% - now Jharkhand 58%, Chhattisgarh 63%. Also, Infant mortality UP 67%, Uttarakhand 44%.

100) year 2008 Targeted growth rate & achieved: bigger states: MP 7% - 4.3%; UP 7.6% - 4.6%; Bihar 6.2% 4.7% smaller states: Chhattisgarh 6.1% - 9.2%; Jharkhand 6.9% - 11.1% Uttaranchal 6.8% - 8.8%

102) There are 10,000+ Industrial units in Telangana, 1200 are owned by Telanganites, 6500 are owned by Seemandhra, rest are by outsiders.

103) Proportionally Telangana should be given about 43% in budget allocation, Since 1953, it never exceeded 30%. Yet Telangana contributes 42% of revenue to the state exchequer.

104) Nizamsagar was built in 1931 to serve Nizamabad and Medak about 2.7 lakh acres of land. It was neglected for maintenance and improvements, now satellite images prove that all its 83 tributaries, 243 distributaries have been silted up and eroded. World bank sanctioned 30 crores for the project, which was never spent. The project now going to be almost useless.

105) In Andhra region every year two crops are cultivated because of water availability, in Telangana a single crop will be cultivated with great difficulty.

106) Technical institutions wise, 26 are in Telangana, 54 are in Andhra. 20 polytechnics in Telangana, 70 in Andhra. 2 Medical colleges in Telangana, 6 in Andhra.

107) British build Railways, Administrative Services, Post and Telegraph, installed democratic institutions, judiciary, rule of law, and built the cities of Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, and New Delhi. British did not claim any of these when they had to leave India. Seemandhra are making big hue and cry clamoring for Hyderabad claiming they have built the city. In 400 yrs of Hyderabad history, how many years did they contribute the 'development' ?

108) Hyderabad - demographic expansion can never be considered as a development. It’s natural growth. It is like a girl who is 10 yrs now will attain 15yrs of age after 5 yrs – can we call it development ? Also, its not just Hyd which is developed … all big/medium cities in India are in development path.

Telangana agitation is reckoned to be handiwork of jobless politicians, they have no value within their party.
Telangana supporting leaders want to win the race of CM & Cabinet positions rather than developments in the state.

If they are so concerned about the Telangana people and the developments in the region, they should work out a development agenda and fight for the same rather than demanding for separate state.

Let Telangana leaders resign right now and get lost forever. These are the politicians who want to destabilize India. They have elected in 2009 and want to resign in 2010 for nothing. They are the least wanted people over here and most unfit politicians. Calling for bandhs, causing unnecessary inconvenience to the common man.

Leave India alone as it is without any more divisions. Let there be no more bifurcation of states, just be fair to all the people of our state.

It will be sucidal mistake & doomsday to think of bifurcating Andhra Pradesh for mere 2.60 lakh plus Government jobs. The huge employment opportunity gains by being one of the top IT modern state will vanish and Telangana region will see the law of diminishing opportunities. Let's all wiser people of the state pray for granting wisdom to our misguided youth and beware of the trap set by some disgruntled & opportunistics leaders of our state.
