Why does the state government give permission for more engin

I feel the state governement is playing with the lives of students by giving permission to more and more engg. colleges. Does the governement know that the standard of education in engineering colleges is going down since there r no good faculty and labs available for the students? They should stop giving permission to more colleges and force the existing colleges to maintain standards.

true, there are many colleges that have been started after revamping poultry farms. the standards are abysmal. days will come when one would require a B.Tech to apply for a clerical job.

The government is being reckless in this aspect,they are exploiting us and making lots of money for the already rich people who start engg.colleges as yet another business.
the quality has diminished surely,and soon it will render many more of us jobless and disheartened!They sure could have saved for a medical college than burn on engineering ones.

i agree, but does the govt. have a choice?? when maharastra, karnataka and tamil nadu are raking in the moolah, can we afford to lag behind?? i agree that the standards need to be improved though.

to clean the road, u need to know at which angle u should use the broom.......practical application of the things people learn at engineering.......u need an engineer for everything.........how much heat should be applied to pack the things in a plastic cover at a departmental store.........there are many other jobs for the engineers u see...........jus kidding !!!!!!!!! i call this \"educated illeteracy\"
