HCS was formed about two years back with an aim to assemble as many people as possible who have an inclination & interest to contribute in some way to the various NGO’s in Hyd. On and off we have been involved with various activities with M.V. Foundation which is an NGO that aims at eradication of child labor in AP.



The high points of our association with MVF was the success of United Nations Mock General Assembly conducted at Legislative Council in Oct 2004 and subsequent conduction of teaching camps at various locations in Hyderabad.



Even though we have been dormant for quite a while now, owing to the lack of any other major activities in town, HCS is planning to take up some events with NGO's so that there can be a platform to bring all Hyderabadi’s onto a common platform and do something worthwhile in our free time.



HCS basically started with the members of Pagalguys forum, Members of Club Helix and students of MGIT, CBIT and Vasavi.



Right now the composition is varied with people from various IT companies, final yr students of Engg apart from PG'ites and Helicans. The aim now is to collect as many members as possible who have free time during weekends and who are willing to work with some set objective so as to make a difference to the cause.



In this regard, we request any interested volunteers who wish to contribute their time and energy to get in touch with HCS so that we can proceed with our plans to tie up with NGO’s and help them.
