Solution to control crimes in INDIA

by Indian » Thu Jul 02, 2009 3:27 pm

Saudi Arabian officials beheaded and then publicly displayed the body of a convicted killer in Riyadh on Friday, an act that prompted a stiff denunciation by a leading human rights monitor.

The Saudi Interior Ministry said Ahmed Al-Shamlani Al-Anzi was sentenced to death and then "crucifixion" -- having his body displayed in public -- for the kidnapping and killing of an 11-year-old boy and for the killing of the boy's father, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.

The Saudi Interior Ministry asserted that Al-Anzi's body was displayed as a warning that those involved in similar crimes would suffer the same fate, the press agency reported.

The ministry said Al-Anzi kidnapped the boy and held him for a "malicious purpose" at a grocery store where he worked. He tied rope around the boy's neck and strangled him to death, the ministry said.

When the boy's father came to the store looking for his son, Al-Anzi axed the father repeatedly until the man died. When police came to arrest Al-Anzi, Al-Anzi resisted arrest by threatening them with a knife.

Police later discovered that Al-Anzi had been previously convicted of other crimes, including possession of pornographic videos and sodomy, the Interior Ministry said.

The English-language Saudi Gazette newspaper said the body was placed on public display throughout the evening and Chirouf said it was his understanding that the body was to be displayed for a few hours.

It’s not a heinous crime it’s a regime of an Islamic country and this is not inhumanity.
Punishment has to implement, if he is uncivilized and involve killing innocents.
Every country has there good and bad.
Recently Saudi Government held more then 40 key figures over Jeddah flood disaster, detain officials who have involved in this infrastructure projects. Their detention was made on the grounds of substantial evidence of dereliction duty.
This decision will protect common citizen’s life and properties.
In our modern, civilized regime individual party goes on protest, followers demolish public and government properties and the funny side is that a common citizen has to pay for this fool act and until the accused brought to justice it will take a long process and time.

I too believe that the prosecution of this case is absolutely right. Look what is happenning in India. A Police officer gets away with the Ruchika case. Just six months and that too because of his age and status he comes out on bail. Laughing off at the Indian justice system. This man should be publicly boycotted. His family should come out in public and ask for a public pardon on behalf of their father. But this is India. Here anyone can get away with it and when he see any such prosecution as of saudi arabia we feel it is just too much. No, if u have committed a crime you should be prepared for the punishment too....................and not depend on your influential friends.
