Hi There,
Negative Comment may affect your brand but I suggest you to be responsive to those comments and ask them why they comment like this or if any brand related comment you got then please give the solution to them. Because this is how you can maintain a trust for the customers. There is also chance that your competitor did that but in short you have to polite and give quick response to there problems.
