Fraeed......., Esay kehtay hain Corrupted System. A chor and murder can be customs officer if he can get to pay enough bribe to get that job then he can continue his old profession in official dress. Telephone boots ak to pocho mat, actually we are to be blamed for the entire system because we encourage the corruption by paying bribes and taking bribes when it comes on us. On the top, this fanatish and hindustava is running in the air of india so if you are an indian muslims or sikh or chirstian by looks and name these so called fanatic minded officials dressed thugs try their best to harrash you and do all its possible to make the comfortable that they are doing something good for the country. This is such a fake and disgusting developed by the factious and fanatic groups like BJP & San Parivar. If this continues then you will see a very bad and hurting end of india. We have many examples around to look at ie. Yugoslavia, Russia and others. I hope everybody understand this thing and does their part to keep their faiths and country together by being a good citizen free from \" corruption \".

Bhai Rasheed and Fareed, aap log thik kehtay ho kay corruption bohut ho gaya hai hyderabad airport per. lekin iski wajah hum log hai. mera matlab hindustani. government doesn\'t have enough moneyto increase employees salary as needed to survive. How do our governments gets the money? from taxes. How many indians pays taxes. It looks bad to all NRI because they don\'t se the corruption in other countries. Why because they pay their taxes and so do NRI in other countries. But this same NRI moves to india buys a house doesn\'t want to pay taxes so he wants to pay less in taxes so he decrease the value of the house. When they have any parties they tri to steal electricity. tell me how many people you know who pays income taxes in india. On the other hand in other countries there are so many taxes. even if you take a high way there are toll roads, where you have to pay money to use that road. think about it and then decide who to blame. I know the government can do alot about it with the cooperation of its citizens. Tell me one thing what do you do when a cop stop you for any citation in india.? are you thinking? yup you would try to pay him some money to finish that matter instead of paying for that citation and taking care of that problem( get a license, or registration etc.)

I can understand your feeling of being discriminated. But why didnt you show the same feelings of anger, frustration etc about the same incident happening in America or Hongkong? You were more frustrated with the precautions that Indian customs took but not with the same precautionary measures taken by US or Hongkong airports. Why this discrimination on your part?

You dare to include Kashmir in your list of places? Do you know the history of kashmir problem?
You are the most unpatriotic person I have encountered. If yu do not have any regard for India or her problems why dont yu move out of our country? It is this kind of attitude that makes people hate you.

FYI...this happens in Pakistan too.
Excerpt from The Friday Times in Pakistan.

Sir,

I am writing to you concerning my recent trip to Pakistan and the presence of FBI agents at Pakistani airports. I travelled to Pakistan recently to visit my parents in Karachi. As usual, I entered and left Pakistan on my Pakistani passport for the convenience of skipping immigration procedures, like most overseas Pakistani do.

I departed Karachi airport for London last Saturday via Dubai. Upon my arrival in London, I was detained by US authorities in the United Kingdom, because as they put it “my description matched that of a wanted criminal in the United States”. The check, believe it or not, was done at Karachi airport where FBI authorities, in a foreign country, have been given full policing privileges. So much for the privacy and protection of Pakistanis in their own country.

Nevertheless, the US Customs and British police started questioning me regarding my activities in Pakistan. They did not believe that I was visiting my parents and suggested that I was a part of some elaborate scam. When informed that I would be detained for further investigation, I claimed Canadian citizenship, which I also hold. I demanded to speak to a consular officer at the Canadian High Commission in London. Upon this, they backed off and the questioning stopped. Once Canadian consular officers arrived at Heathrow Airport, they demanded my release and took me into their protection. The officers who questioned me apologised for “any inconvenience” they had caused. They were obviously afraid of me speaking out in Canada.

As if it was not bad enough that Pakistani citizens are treated badly abroad, now they are being mistreated in Pakistan, which has given foreigners the full right to interrogate Pakistani citizens at will. If I were not a Canadian citizen and the Canadian consular officers had not helped me out, who knows how long I would have spent in jail.

Rashid Hassan,

London.

Harassment at Hyderabad Airport

Oh my God.....I feel like i have seen a war after reading all these messages.
Still, all I can understand from this message board is that majority of the muslims have been treated badly after september 11th, in HYDERABAD (their native place, which they call home). I don\'t understand why SOME people want to disagree with it (by saying that the individuals who are treated badly are treated so b\'cos it is their fault...just b\'cos they used bad language in this message board...which is justifiable to me b\'cos they are frustrated...b\'cos they are treated badly). Why cannot these (SOME) people show sympathy to these individuals (who are treated badly and who happenned to be muslims)? Why cannot everybody feel sorry to these individuals (who are treated badly)?. I am not a muslim but I ran into a situation where I had to bribe the authorities at the hyderabad airport to collect my luggage the last time I went (I was not carrying anything expensive, I am a student who earns just enough money to survive). During that time...I felt helpless...there was no way out other than bribe these authorities (I really really hate these guys). I still cannot forget the feeling. I need to go to Hyderabad soon.....this message board scared the hell out of me. Oh my God!!!!!!!!!

(This message is only for some people in this message board... and I was clear in what I meant to say and not confuse anybody).
