I THINK HYD.STANDS FOR UNITY WITHIN DIVERSITY.THEREFORE LETS NOT BE MEAN TO PEOPLE WHO ARE ATTRACTED TO OUR ONCE BEAUTIFUL CITY IN SEARCH OF MAKING A LIVING.INSTEAD WE SHOULD WELCOME THEM AND HELP THEM UNDERSTAND CITY MANNERS SO THAT THEY ARE BLENDED IN.

Where is the harmony that you are talking about? I find this statement of yours would have been true only if such forums existed or started in early 50\'s.

Hyd is a cosmopolitan town like any other towns in the world. It must preserve multi ethinical culture, practices. this will give intaraction with all to learn various cultures of different states. If we teach them about hyderabadi and make them to learn & behave hyderabadi it is not correct. The guests should learn from visitors and make them comfortable at home.

Hyderabad is a melting pot for all cultures, religions and creed and there is absolutely no doubt about it. That is why, we find people from other states get so comfortably settled in Hyderabad.
I have been to several places in India and did not find the same level of acceptance of local population for outsiders. Mumbai is an exception - still one does not really feel comfortable the way he feels in Hyderabad.
