Question for NRIs in US

does any one how good are prospects for indian MBAs here in US?

But doesn't it depend on where you've graduated from?

I would think it is bad. I am not in the US, but in Australia. But the way it usually works here is that you get experience first before you get a qualification.



I recently finished my CCNA and got heaps of job offers as I have experience with it. But if I did my CCNA without exp I would not get one offer at all.



In India it is different, one likes to complete their studies before going ahead in search of their job, but it just doesnt work here.

a Harvard degree or Wharton MBA will command respect anywhere in the world. If you’re from a middle-rung school, you’re as good as an MBA from a mid-rung Indian B-school.



If you have an MBA from India (non-IIM) and you are in marketing/sales..my freind.. forget about it.



Otherwise, lot of desis excel in Finance and International business , given solid financial backing or excellent analytical,communication skills are embedded in you.
