hey desichick...... been a long time since your post but anyway.....
1. Improve your vocab, however good it already is! (How good is it?)
2. Familiarize yourself with the pattern until you know it THOROUGHLY
You should spend zero time doing that during the exam.
3. The math part is basically speed, though you might need to tease your brains for a few minutes over a few Qs.
4. Think a LOT before you answer each question in the critical reading section..... read the passage once, then the questions, then the passage again. Then answer. but be quick.
Anyway... the model of the paper is gonna change sometime this year... I think someone mentioned that earlier.
BTW, I gave the SAT in Jan 04, got a 1510
I don't think tuition will help much as this is a very 'personal' kinda exam. You gotta work at it yourself. I never worked much for school etc, but did work for this coz frankly, I enjoyed it!!
