bidar, warangal, for the tourism. it might not be the best idea in the summer, though.

For me,the best destination for a weekend getaway from hyderabad is GOA.. Though it's quite far.. but i love to go there almost twice a month.. its about 668 kms away from hyd.. but i prefer going by air..coz it saves our time..

The weather of Goa makes me go mad.. i just love that place.. it's worth spending ur weekend peacefully.. i suggest u all to spend atleast 1 weekend in GOA.. i am sure u'll love it..

There are many places in Andhra Pradesh and even in Hyderabad for a great getaway for a weekend. In my opinion,my favorite place in Hyderabad is the Tankbund from evening 5'o clock. It is such a wonderful sight at that time that you can't even wish to come off from there. And even the Prasads Imax is more than a tourist place for passing the time easily.Jalvihar is the great place to have a loads of fun which is also the nearest to Prasads Imax.

For a weekend getaway, you can leave to Ramoji film city, which is the one of the greatest places in Hyderabad. The another most important place to enjoy in Hderabad is Golkonda, which stands as the symbol for Hyderabad. And if you wanna go out of Hyderabad, then you can think of going to Bhuvangiri fort which is almost similar to Golkonda fort. And yeah also the Prasads imax is great for enjoying as it has everything in it including food courts, games, and all.

In my opinion,The best way i will prefer is Nagarjunasagar

1.It is Located further south east of Hyderabad. (nearly 150 Km from Hyd)

2.It is Situated between the cities of Guntur and Hyderabad.

3. Nagarjuna Sagar is famous for its massive irrigation projects on River Krishna which was completed in 1969.

4.It is One of the earliest hydro-electric projects in India.

5.Nagarjuna sagar dam is 124 meters high and a kilometer long, making it the tallest masonry dam in the world.

6.The region has a rich and interesting past. It was a valley with civilizations back to thousands of years.

7.The Things to do in Nagarjunasagar is

->Visit the Ethipothala waterfalls and also plan a boat trip to Nagarjunakonda, an island with a rich collection of Buddisht sculpture and relics.

8.The Accommodation in Nagarjunasagar is

-> The government hotel Vijay VIhar is beautifully restored and has a commanding view of the lake, rooms are spacious with private balconies.

9.Nagarjuna Sagar is one of the best and nearest weekend getaways from Hyderabad

I Think the great destination for a weekend gateway from hyderabad is charminar Because its the symbol of true love of Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah and Bhagamati and it is the historical replica of our hyderabadi citizens.,.,.

There we find many things interesting like.,.,.,

1.hindus and muslims live together as brothers.

2.we find every hyderabadi world famous food items at charminar only like..,.,

1.irani tea

2.hyderabadi haleem

3.hyderabadi dum ka biryani ect ect menu continues up to one page if we speak

4.we find that many people will buy old coins and currencies of other countries on Sundays and saturadays.

5.Although its a arabic construction but we finf a temple over there at charminar this replicas the indian unity in diversity.,.,
