Hi Hyderabad,
I was chatting to a businessman from your city on Monday. He said there's a lot of tech and filmmaking in your area. He was insistent that Hyderabad was one of the best towns in India. Sounds good to me.
I'm an English teacher from the UK working in Taiwan.
In my spare time I research grassroots technology. Simple devices that can solve pressing problems in food, water, nutrition, finance and pollution.
I have some free, open source materials about low-cost future technology to distribute in India and China. I have kept each article very short, to make translation and distribution easy. I have no plans to visit India until 2016... but as it is a populous country, and a future powerhouse, I'm very interested in reaching the subcontinent.
If there's anyone interested in translating, printing or making a documentary movie from the materials please chat to me here. There's no copyright, so pretty much anyone can distribute them. I am focused on making one page information sheets right now. You can cram a lot of information onto one sheet if you try.
In my spare time I play ukelele, guitar and exercise a little.
If anyone's interested, say hi.
Best,
ChalkySmith
