I have not read posts from previous pages but NO You are both WRONG! Right girls? Every individual is different and hence unprofessionalism or cold heartedness is not specific to women. OK got that?

What a distressing contrast there is between the radiant intelligence of the child and the feeble mentality of the average adult.

Tell me something I don't know. Every man wants a drop-dead gorgeous babe on his arm. However, intelligence and beauty are a lethal combination. Rare to come by. But if they do, I'm not sure how many men can handle it. For starters, I've seen many men who can't.

some corrections :1) Boys to be repaced By men in all the above assumptions

2)And existence of a a woman with intelligence(measured relative to men not other women) X beauty is a rumour or a prediction by Nostradamus which as all his predictions is yet to come true.

3)Intimidation : Men sometimes have to act as if they are intimidated so that the other person feels confident and ........(This is one of definitions of CHIVALRY).The same way when we play with small kids , let them win and feel happy.

But if anyone is living with this kind of ghalatfahmi shud quickly step back into real world

1)I was not talking about 'boys' in my previous post so the question of replacing it with 'men' does not arise.

2) If you think a 'beautiful, intelligent woman' is an oxymoron, wake up and smell the coffee.

3)Come off it. Few men will publicly acknowledge that a woman is better than him. The rest who don't, make statements like the ones you've made.

I'll side-step the last statement because it smacks of immaturity.

Men do get intimidated

by It does » Wed Jul 12, 2006 5:23 pm

Intelligence is not observed nowadays by how much one knows, but how one projects himself or herself to know.

In a society like ours, where the men have been instructing ladies, it's tough for one to accept a women as more intelligent than him.

In some cases, like say, career, household decision making authority etc., it does intimidate a man.

Lets take some examples.

1.Career

In one of the recent Telugu movies with Nagarjuna and Sonali Bendre, some time after Sonali joins the organization as Nagarjuna's subordinate reporting to him, she's made his senior. It's now Nagarjuna's turn 2 report 2 Sonali. Nagarjuna behavior demonstrated that in some cases like his, a man's behavior can get intimidated.

Intelligent Women intimidates men

by VJ » Fri Jul 14, 2006 4:18 pm

Ummmmmmmm, It does happen sometimes. Let me give u a practical example which I observed in my life when I just passed out of my engg and was staying in a room which was in the first floor. There used to be a family beside our room in which the husband is the Networking Engg, Wife is the Team Leader in a call center and they have a kid as well.

Poor Husband would always be alone in the nights  since his wife's job is in the nights, and so he had to cook and also had to take care of the kid by himself. We would even hear the couple arguing many a times and hurting the kid in anger.Poor kid would cry along and his father would take care of him all the time.

And on certain occasions his wife would join in the parties with her collegues and he would be left alone drinking in his house when his wife wasn't there. And interestingly he would go pick her up from the parties  . She always used to dominate in every manner and talk in an ordering manner. He somehow he would digest it all the time and would give us a simple smile when we would pass by.

We were all surprised :o , but he was very kind. So it worked for them.

It depends on how men react, especially in India where men have an upperhand and ego feeling in them.
