Teach in the United States of America through the United States Cultural Exchange program. We at Teachers.org recruit qualified educators from around the world to teach in Public Schools in the USA. International teachers provide students with cultural enrichment and enhance mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries.

Our exchange visitor program provides foreign nationals the opportunity to spend one to three years living in the United States teaching students and enriching our school systems and communities. Teaching in the United States will be an exciting experience that will increase your knowledge of the world and your understanding of America’s teaching practices while allowing you to expand and develop the expertise you have learned in your home country.

Teachers.org sponsors teachers in a variety of subject areas including Special Education, Foreign Languages (Spanish, French, German etc), Mathematics, General Elementary, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Art and Music. We sponsor teachers in primary and secondary levels of education; kindergarten to 12th grade.

Teaching in the United States may be the challenging and rewarding experience you are looking for to move your teaching career forward.

To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:


* A professional level of spoken and written English.
* Must hold a university degree equivalent to a four year U.S. Bachelors Degree.
* The degree must correspond to the subject to be taught. For example:


To teach Math you must have a Math Education Degree; an Engineering or Accounting Degree is not acceptable.
To teach Special Education, you must have a degree in Special Education; a degree in General Education is not sufficient.


* Degree must contain a pedagogical component; that is, courses in pedagogy, methods of teaching, psychological development, teaching internship, etc.
* At least three (3) years classroom teaching experience.
* A driver's license and one year of driving experience.
* Official good conduct certificate from the local police department.
* General good health.
* Must not be a citizen or resident of the US.
