We as the People of the Country have every right to use our freedom of
speech in order to raise the issues that,we,the public, are sore about.
But more important than airing our views,it is important that we do so
in the correct way and at the correct fora.
Here we may go on discussing abt it and then this thread will b forgotten
someday. That won't help the cause at all.Yes but what it does is that it
creates a feeling inside ourselves that "Yes,I have spoken My Mind,Had
done my bit for the country,I can rest in peace"
But what we fail to realise is that we have to do much more that that.
Remember Paresh Rawal's repartee in "Nayak"?
"Desh ka har aadmi politician logon ko gaali deta hai, lekin yeh nahin
sochta ki woh khud isse sudhaar sakta hai.HAr aadmi yeh sochta hai
ki yeh mera kaam nahin hai, main kyon karoon?"
I think this is the truth that everyone (including me) knows deep within.
but we fail to overcome the demosn inside and translate our views into
actions.
The best I could do was to vote for the person(s) whom I thought were
suitable to run the Govt and then dusted off my hands.Done.
Even now when I write so much here,I know that while I may feel
these things ,I am never gonna translate this into actions. It will
remain a renmark and nothing else.Just yet another discussion.
I Pity Myself.
