Deccan Chronicle advertises a porn website

I've never thought this newspaper to be socially conscious, but what they did today is truly despicable - on the front page of Hyderabad Chronicle, they have written about a porn comic strip, featuring a lascivious married woman. They'll surely send millions (no kidding) of teens and pre-teens to an explicit porn site that promotes sex with a married woman (from which the kids will then go on to a huge network of porn sites though the link farms).

I see no news value in that item, especially for a mainstream newspaper. And all the kids and teens who go there will think it's okay to be adulterous - there are already too few role models for living a principled life.

I think we should all write to the newspaper protesting this - the email is jayanti@deccanmail.com, and goes straight to the editor.
