Racial Abuse against Indian BPO Operator

The American racist, terrorists have done it again. Like umpteen no. of

times. This time it was a couple of RJs who made a call to a call centre in

India, after confirming that the call was indeed diverted to India, the RJs,

used foul language (ex. rat eater, bitch, etc, etc) & abused an Indian call

centre girl.

Yet again this exposes the American racist attitude against the people of

the third world. How many times will be abused like this & take i down

lying. Is India not a free country or what???. Maybe we just got free from

the British only to be enslaved by the racist American scumbags. Isn't

anyone going to take this seriosly & respond in kind.

It's not just Americans (or developed world countries), i've seen attitudes like this from people in UK, Ireland, and other developing countries in asia. people in general are very narrowminded, it's not based on nationality.

There was a similar thing that happened when a popular RJ made sarcastic comments about Filipinos, and the Filipinos made him literally eat his words.



This might ignite anti-US feelings among Indians for a while, but how many really have the guts to vent out their feelings against the racists? I mean seriously, on a practical note, whenever someone says something nasty and when I protest, I find I am the only one.. there is no backing. The other Indians, and especially the presidents of the Indian organisations, diplomatically keep their mouth shut because the typical Indian who comes to the US is an American butt kisser. In 2000, one smart-ass remark by an American had several of my Chinese friends contacting the local newspaper to protest. I doubt if anything like that will happen with the Indians.



And for God's sake, don't start with this US is racist phrase. Majority of people here are very nice and friendly. There are racists everywhere, and India has no dearth of racists. If you find someone saying something nasty, kick his butt. Today's US is not the same as what it was 50 years ago. Don't label the whole country racist just because of a few racist pigs.



Anyway, what is that BPO company going to do in this case? Are they going to file a racism suit against the two RJs? Will they break ties with their American benefactors? I don't think so.

Nothing new YCR. These things keep happening all the time in this industry. But the brighter side of it is that the number of such cases is far less compared to the ppl having favourable reports about Indians.



And its not just about this industry. Americans have a history of being the ultimate racists. Nowhere else had people thought of divisions based on colour before the yanks formed the Klan. After 9/11, anyone with a beard or a turban was an Osama bin Laden. Everyone with mongoloid features is a rice-nigger.



The BPO industry has just given these scumbags an opportunity to exercise their demented habits. I just wish God gives them some brains.

ummm... its the exact opposite 3Tz. The americans only want to help the muslim countries because they fear that people turn towards religion during disasters and the poor homeless will become easy picking for the terrorrists. Well, atleast thats the american theory and that is why they sent the marines and helo carriers to Indonesia, which is on top of their list and then offered aid to India as we hae 100 million muslims Heard a political analyst saying this on TV.
