Assalamu Alaikum
While searching for dhoolak key geet I found this site, GR8 site indeed come to the point which Mr. Lucknowi, raised.
hum log hyderabdi hain aur deccani urdu boltey hai. Let me tell u one thing, when urdu started it was developed in three areas 1) Lucknow 2)Delhi and 3)Hyderabad - Lucknowi urdu and Delhi urdu were having a minor difference due to their closeness and they were continuisly developing and spreading because of their surroundings Hyderabad on other hand has Deccani urdu, it didn't spread because of surroundings. (Hyderabad was surrounded by Telugu - Maratha and Kannada speaking people)
Aahh u need proof for that the Urdu has started from Hyderabad also.
The First saheb-e-Diwaan Poet is from hyderabad, read Wali Deccani's peotry u will find - logaan, and other Deccani urdu's word, Quli Qutb shah's famous shair - mera shaher logaan so mamoor kar is purely in Deccani style.
Come to the written modern Urdu - No one beet hyderabad on this matter - Read Siasat - Munsif - Etiemaad - Rahnuma-e-Deccan no one in the urdu world can beat these newspapper on the term of their urdu writing, these newspapers are highly standard newspapers - just compare it with quami Awaaz of Delhi or other newspapers
We r hyderabadi, we speak Deccani Urdu (as old as urdu is)
Hope your misunderstanding has been cleared with this historical facts
