Religious structures on roads

Dear Khatta,

I fully sympathize with you, I expressed my views some time back and I was hooted out with eggs and tomatoes and what not...
You need to look at the following:
Most of the structures are under Heritage act and Awqaaf act, that involve serious legal and constitutional implications. (besides triggering law and order problems)
People who come to fullhyd.com are known to be IT savy and modern in their outlook, peace loving and cooperative in nature.
Now, what we all need to think is what are the consequences or eventualities of such (stupid) movements.
In my sincere view people should not think in the lines of destruction, and knocking off things in the way.
\'aap raaste badal sakte ho, manzil ko chhed kar kya milegaa\'
I hope I am able to make some sense here...(this time)

Shaikh Sb,

Something has to be done, as some structures have nothing to do with Heritige / Auqaaf which came up during the past 10/20 years.

Whats wrong in looking for solutions to better our day to day lives.

My dear Shaikh,
You may be correct to some extent. But the purpose of the structures that have come up recently is just to occupy land in the name of religion. I think no one can disagree with this point. Moreover, if the people can agree with this idea, then there won\'t be any legal obstructions either. I am happy that you have at least tried to understand the purpose of this board. It\'s not meant to trigger any sort of communal passions. But as Learner said, both the communities need to come forward. It would be of no help if only one community comes forward. Hope you got my point, and I expect at least some sort of +ve response from you too in your next message.

Is the spirit to go to the Govt. and ask for this - demolishing the religious structures - dying? Come on, plan the date and do it...

Tread softly my friend, we are not demolishing anything. We would rather move them or relocate for the convenience of the general public. Guess this is more in line.

Yaar, that is typo. Forgot to complete the sentence by adding \" on the roads \"... I meant demolishing the walls and... (other surronding parts)...
Hope that, its Ok!!! Others can understand, but I was mistaken... Yeah, it can make a negative impact also... Moreover, also ask the help of Fullhyd.com, to come forward to successfully complete this thing...

Hi all,
I am really amazed to see this board. Actually, I myself was thinking of expressing these views to the Govt. 2 or 3 yrs ago, but back-tracked due to lack of confidence. I am really happy to see this. We need to keep on trying.

Hey! Who is trying to use my name? Tell me. Stop duplicating me. If you really want to do some mischief, do it properly. By the way is Jyothi your real name or is it something different. Or are you ramesh kumar.

Hi all,

At least post the details of any new structures that might be coming up so that we can stop them from getting constructed.

Hi board,
Seems like the Hyderabadis are really trying to make their city a nice one. This idea is good. Though I stay in Chennai, I\'ve started visiting this site often. Hope this kind of team builds up in every city.

The only 'heritage' structure in the middle of the road is the char minar, rest are all built in the last few years.Take for example the temple at basheer bagh which is high traffic zone. It was a small temple only 5 -6 years back, but today it is full fledged temple with devotees parking there vehicles bang in the middle of the road. Also when there is a festival the road leading to nizam college is blocked. All this cannot be possible without the MCH, Police and Politicians helping it. The gods and goddesses in these temples must be finding it difficult to take a nap with all the traffic flowing around. These temples need to be relocated to a quiter place where they wont cause any problem to the road users.

Regarding tipu's perception

by Ramesh » Sun May 02, 2004 2:06 pm

This is not regarding temples or mosques or churches. Its regarding roads and the blockages. A religious structure, if obstructing the road should be shifted irrespective of whether its temple or mosque or church or chilla or a building or otherwise. Lets not deviate from the aim. Lets not invoke any communal passions. Plz try to understand the basic idea behind this discussion. I think tipu is looking at this board from the angle of religion. He mentioned only temples. I request him to clearly understand the message before reacting.
