Latest reservations by mad congressmen

by IdontDiscriminate » Sun Jul 18, 2004 7:33 pm

Yet another reservation package.Does the congress ever do anything other than screw up the country.where's equality for all and justice for all in our country?backward classes, women, muslims i presume christians come next............ but then hey, what about the real minority? Males from forward classes??????I honestly believe there should only be reservations only for 'deserving' people from 'economically backward' classes and caste, sex or religion should not be the criteria.

The idea of reservation is flawed. But the Congress-men (read CON MEN) thrive on such $^£^ policies.

Maybe hang around and actually try to voice my opinion against these 'atrocities'. heard me right these ARE indeed atrocities.

Pata hain.idhar hum kuch bhi bole, udhar kuch nahin hone waala hain. magar bolenge zaroor.

And nice point there, that's exactly why I dont wanna have my own kids, well atleast that's the plan. Kids are a lota mess anyways:).

Well seems like atleast somebody has sense in the state. Turns out it's the few people who have filed a case and the HighCourt of AP. I wonder what'll happen next. YSR says he'll try to enact a legislation. What do you guys think?

congress is not a secular party

by visalandhra » Thu Aug 05, 2004 4:48 pm

hi friends ,

here i'm giving the two examples how the congress divide the country by religion.Congress is the real culprit. This is from

PAPER 27 – THE SOCIOLOGY AND POLITICS OF SOUTH ASIA

written by

STEWART MORRIS

CHRIST’S COLLEGE

A number of examples help to illustrate the part played by Congress in this phenomenon. One is the case of Shah Bano, a Muslim woman who had filed for alimony from her husband. He claimed this was illegal under sharia (Islamic law) so Bano took the case to the Supreme Court. They ruled that the laws of a secular state overruled any religious code. Rajiv Gandhi stepped in, forcing a law through Parliament which made sharia superior to civil law in cases pertaining to the maintenance of divorced Muslim women. This backfired badly; many Muslims deplored the way in which a huge Congress majority had violated the authority of the judiciary, while the Hindutva movement claimed Congress had become ‘pseudo-secular’, appeasing minorities at the expense of the majority. This concept of a ‘majority under threat’ is a recurring them in Hindu nationalism. In fact, Congress had indeed become pseudo-secular, not because it was pro-Muslim, but because it had reduced ‘secularism’ to the sum total of ‘Hindu’ and ‘Muslim’ obscurantisms.

Another example is based around the conflict which has become the ultimate symbol of Hindu nationalism, the campaign to build a Ram Mandir on the site of the Babri Mosque in Ayodhya. The Ramjanmabhoomi campaign, formed in 1984, initiated marches on Ayodhya, believed to be the birthplace of Ram. In 1989 the government allowed the VHP to stage the Ram shila pujan, a procession of consecrated bricks intended for the construction of the mandir. The idea was to attract BJP supporters to the Congress party.

reservations to muslims

by visalandhra » Wed Aug 11, 2004 1:02 pm

Tthe congress won the elections because of the polling officials. This is real.My neighbour is working as a school head master and he went for polling duty.He told proudly that he mislead the people(Who r illiterate in the village and don't know how to cast their vote by EVM) and casted 50 votes infavour of congress.Because he is a government employee he is against to Naidu. And he also told that their colleagues did the same thing. This will results the defeat of TDP.

just goes to show how powerful as a section the Government Employees are ... and why none of the Political Parties can now afford to ignore them or try to take actions at this sections costs. No wonder all the PSU selling and Govt Job Cutting plans have taken a back seat
