when i said i dunno...i was talking abt that DC article. btw, that link points to today's edition now.

Nizam was given a fancy title like most other kings in india, to keep them happy in a democratic society. if nizam didnt have delusions of grandeur later, he cud have retained his title n Privy Purse until Indira Gandhi abolished those too.

can u answer those three facts i mentioned in the other thread.



i dunno where Geeta Reddy made those comments. i am sure it was at an occassion where Nizam or hyderabad's history was being discussed...hardly a moment to critisize him...



like i said he did do many good things in his hey days. but what he did towards the end are unforgivable and unforgetable.

u cant deny these historical facts too:

1) nizam wanted to merge hyderabad with pakistan

2) towards the end he became weak and a puppet in Razakars' hands.

3) Razakars were responsible for slaughtering thousands who were oppossed to nizam.

(btw. off topic: the political party Majlis Ittehad ul-Muslimeen was started by the remaining trash of Razakars who wanted a cloak of respectability in a democratic india)

imagine the scene if Nizam had succeeded in his plans of not joining India.

His foolishness and impotence towards the end has negated all his good work. it was really good riddance. my mom's family was here in those terrible days we know what was happening. just looking at what good he did in his hey days cant cover up actual events.

DQ the joke about the vision stuff was just to pull your leg.. please dont take it seriously. I am over your visionary stuff. Yes Nizam is a Visionary. There you have it. I concede but honestly you suck at presenting your point. Nizam might be really a visionary but just because of the way you present your points it has totally turned me and many people off the discussion. Anyway I dont think you care.



Arguing just for the sake of arguing in not good. You should have some logic to it. When someone presents a good point you have to agree/acknowledge that point, that shows you are listening, that shows that you are fair in your judgements. Else your arguments look like one way street. Nothing going into your head and only your points coming out.



We all have our opinions and we are entitiled to them. This is a forum to discuss our views and maybe just maybe learn a few good things from interacting with people.



I am sure you are a mature person but I dont want to discuss Nizam with you anymore. Becasue honestly you have said nothing that changed my opinion. I might be wrong but I will stick to my opinion for now. We can agree to disagree on this issue.
